"We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.  Your playing small does not serve the world."

- Marianne Williamson

Once upon a time, I didn't believe in my writing or if I possessed talent to pursue this dream to write, seriously.  I started sharing a few of my writings with my hubbie and Mom.  They really liked them.  I told myself, "They have to say that because..."  I began to study my works closer and started enjoying them, as well.  So, I started posting a few on a private writer's critique site.

Of course, I received some non-inspirational reviews, but I took what  I needed and learned from each of them.  The positive reviews flooded in too.  I must confess that sharing a piece of your writing with family or strangers can be terrifying.

I'm so glad I did because it empowered me to keep on writing.  In time, I began to believe more in myself and seized my gift.  I feel fabulous on most days, but not all.  However, I now believe in playing big because Jesus is Big Enough to make anything happen!  He allowed my eyes to be opened to secure my gift of writing, which I was blind to for a very long time.  In fact, I used to question myself, "What's unique about me?"  Now, I know.

With all being shared above, I wish to thank those who have been and continue to be my Inspirational Cheerleaders to keep my fingers jumping up in the air and landing back on the keyboard over and over again.  Without their support and believing in myself, my writing drive would have been like a small bundle of Fall leaves on the ground, suddenly picked up by a gush of cold wind carried far, far away into the North.  Some may not even realize how much their encouragement impacted me to keep on dreaming and writing.  So, I thank each of you very, very much:
